Opflow.

A store owner does not know whether the price is too high or too low. Opflow ran two prices in parallel, measured, and showed what really sells. An app in the Shopify App Store, with paying customers, until it was retired in October 2026.

§ 01The case

What hurt, what was at risk, what was delivered.

1.1

Symptom

Guessing a price loses money either way

Price is the most influential decision in a store, and it is almost always a guess. Raise it and sales drop. Lower it and the profit disappears. And nobody knows what would have happened otherwise.

1.2

Impact

A blanket price change with no measurement

A store that changes the price for everyone at once cannot know whether sales moved because of the price or because it was a Tuesday. The mistake costs money in both directions.

1.3

Outcome

Two prices at once, and numbers instead of guesses

The store owner picks a product and a variant and sets a test price, and from there everything runs on its own: visitors are split between two groups without noticing, and every view, add-to-cart and purchase is measured inside the store itself. One screen shows revenue and conversion for each price, and once there is an answer you close the test and update the price. What changed for store owners: a pricing decision went from a gut feeling to a one-week test, with numbers.

§ 02Delivered

What was delivered.

  • An app approved in the Shopify App Store
  • Creating a test in three steps, active tests, closing and archive
  • Measurement inside the store itself: views, cart, purchases, revenue and conversion rate for each group
  • Paid subscriptions, promo codes, guided onboarding, Hebrew and English
  • A landing and marketing page, service for paying customers
