What hurt, what was at risk, what was delivered.
Symptom
Legal deliveries managed by phone
A legal delivery is a matter of time and of proof. In practice, coordination with couriers happens over phone calls and WhatsApp, with no tracking and no proper record.
Impact
A delivery that is not made on time is legal damage
A late or undocumented delivery hurts the lawyer's client, and there is nothing to prove what happened and when.
Outcome
A complete flow, from three apps
An app for the lawyer to order and track, an app for the courier with navigation and proof of delivery, and an admin panel for dispatch, pricing and billing. Real-time updates, notifications, payments and monthly billing for couriers. The client stopped the project after the pilot.
What was delivered.
- A lawyer app: ordering a delivery, real-time tracking and history
- A courier app: receiving tasks, navigation, and proof of delivery with a photo, location and time
- An admin panel: dispatch, pricing, commissions, monthly billing for couriers and export to Excel
- A dispatch engine that offers the task to the nearest couriers and widens the radius until someone accepts
- Opening hours of courts and institutions, with alerts before a deadline
- Payments, push notifications and emails, an audit log, and end-to-end tests
