TechCall.
A service company that managed calls and technicians by hand: phone calls, slips of paper, Excel reports. A complete system built in 2020 that has been running ever since, even though the client finally chose to stay with manual work.
- Field
- Service calls and technicians

- Role
- Specification and build from scratch: server, interface and app
- What was built
- A management system · a technician app

What hurt, what was at risk, what was delivered.
Symptom
Service calls on phones and slips of paper
Every call goes through the office by phone, the technician heads out without the customer's history, and the monthly report is built by hand from slips of paper.
Impact
Calls that fall between the chairs
A forgotten call is an angry customer. A technician without information makes a double visit. And a report that takes a day is a day of a manager's time.
Outcome
A complete system, from the office to the signature in the field
Management of calls, customers, branches, regions, equipment, price lists and technicians. A technician app with notifications, call details and the customer's digital signature. SMS messages, emails and export to Excel, in Hebrew and English. The client finally chose, for internal reasons, to stay with manual work. The system has been running ever since and is shown as a concept.

Do you have technicians in the field and slips of paper in the office?
A system that connects the office to the field, including a technician app. Two or three lines on WhatsApp are enough.
